FAQ

How long is your turnaround?

Your animal is placed on a list in order of date received. Sometimes easier mounts like ducks may be substituted in if I am waiting on suppliers. There has never been a mount in the studio more than 15 months. Usually every mount is done within 10 to 12 months.

Can I pay for the whole mount up front?

Yes. Your mount will go to the top of the list to be completed first. Subject to waiting on suppliers.

Can I bring in a cape if I just want a Euro done?

Yes. I take in capes to use as spares for customers that might need a replacement. There is a substantial discount on the euro if you bring in a usable cape. Even if you do a euro yourself there is a chance that I may buy a cape. Just call to inquire.

What should I do to care for the velvet on the antlers?

Touch them as little as possible and bring them in as soon as you can. A good addition to bring on your hunting trip is a product (Velvalok) that comes in a spray bottle and you just spray it on the velvet to preserve it.

My bird is really bloody so can it still be mounted?

More than likely yes. The birds go through a rigorous cleaning process that gets rid of all the blood and oils before mounting. The best thing to do is bring it in and I can look it over and determine the condition of the bird.
