About

I was born and raised in the Reno/Sparks area of Nevada. As an adolescent, I enjoyed fishing and learning about the outdoors with my grandpa. While attending schools in the area, I always had an interest in art and even had a pastel painting entered into a state art competition. Then, around the age of 29, I began hunting. Hunting quickly became a passion while encountering the outdoors and interacting with wildlife in a way I never imagined. Therefore, I now greet hunting season each year with enthusiasm.

As such, my artistic side sparked up when I noticed the association between taxidermy and hunting mounts displayed at outdoor retailers around town. Eventually, this led to an opportunity to learn from a knowledgeable friend practicing this artful craft. Today, as a taxidermist and wildlife artist with a passion for hunting, art, and adventure, I specialize in creating unique, lifelike pieces that capture the beauty of nature and the thrill of the hunt. In fact, I have developed an eye for detail, and I'm always looking for new ways to express my creativity and push the boundaries of my art. Whether it's a classic trophy mount or a unique life size scene, I strive to create pieces that capture the spirit of the outdoors.
